  • Thanks to all that supported this event.

Very few PV people there I only met Ellie (shes well pretty). Thought Sini would of turned up wit it only been 15 mins walk from her house……

Had djs from AHC, Pcybass, InnerCityTechno, Bass Behavior, Daylight Robbery & Gash Collective play in the dance tent over the weekend.
We finaly got it together to put an after party on but then it absalutly pissed it down so that put a stop to that.

Turned out to be a brilliant weekend despite all the fuck ups prior to the event.

    Well done all involved.

:shy: thanks Mr AHC – t’was a pleasure to meet you

nice to meet you also, was abit ‘ballooned’ when you came back stage to say hello so took me abit to get back to earth to reply :laugh_at::laugh_at:
did you stay till the sunday? i didnt see you? we set up our decks n lights in the alternitive tent and played inbetween the bands on the sunday coz we only had ahc djs on on the saturday in the dance tent.

i had a realy good time, was my first licenced event i’ve been involved in, tons of stress but it was worth it in the end.

ha ha, i know… the timing was a little unfortunate! you seemed remarkably composed though i thought!

only stayed for a little while on sunday – i thought you said you werent gonna be there on the sunday??

shame about the afterparty but it was probably a good idea to cancel…pissed it down all night i think. good effort putting on a free legal for the local people…and me! might get you some credit with the council/police too (god knows there were plenty of them there!)

I only live 10 mins from the festie site so was back for 1 ish. I had to pick my girl friend up first though.

Will be alot better next year if we get permition to do it again. Could be the Strawberry Fair of the North with abit of effort.raaaraaa

nah thats actually way better than Strawberry Fair, which doesn’t have a dance tent any more and is proper locked down with cops because people acted like idiots in previous years..

there was quite a heavy police presence at our event due to problems the year before but the site change and abit less D&B being played helped this year.

we only had the dance tent on the saturday then sort of moved into the alternitave tent for the sunday as some of our rig was in there. the dance tent went totaly scally on the sunday i dont know if this was because of big name d&b/dubstep djs playing or what?

at least the cops gave you another chance, down here each time a festival fucks up there are extra restrictions

even without the dance tent the cops put Cambridge train station on lockdown and searches…

they played dubstep / dnb at Philosophers fair in June (rare to hear this in East Anglia) and it didn’t cause any major problems, although this was a one day event with a strict music curfew at 11pm… but then again this event attracts more of the hippy/dread raver crowd..

most of the problem is local scrotes that can easily find an event like this put them and the d&b together ant you get a volitile mix. there were a croud of similar scrotes that had come of an estate in sheffield at the last multi rigger.
