    there must be .. have a look in maplins .. they have almost every wire under the sun there

    If its got center left and right and stuff the amp should split the TV signal for you. So you don’t need to worry.

    If theres no amp you can’t use it / it’ll sound shit using your tv amp.

    im pretty sure its got a amp built in the sub.. right hold on ive found it, think its supposed to be used with your computer.. is there no way i an use it for my t.v tho?

    thats a pic of the back of it if it will help any one figure it out ..

    You can get scart to triple phono: link don’t know if that’s what you want though?
    If you have phono to phono you could possibly try putting it in to the centre input, I don’t know if this would work/sound shit but I’ve done something similar before when I didn’t have the right cable with no problems

    No it would need to be a scart to 6 phono plugs. Tried plugging it into the middle socket, but it then only comes out of the sub and the center speaker.. :crazy_dizzy:

    think that you need some thing along the lines of this m8 .. it’s for suround sound .. but sais it has audio and video in out so not sure it’s exactly what you are after .. it’s only cheep tho so might be worth a try:wink:

    i just been working out what you would need to do and if all you got is whats in that pic then i belive you need either an amp,decoder or some kind of splitter .. as you said you have a built in amp in the sub you will need a 5.1 decoder or spliter to split the signal for you … this would go inbetween your tv and suround speakers .. i am having trouble finding any thing that you can buy like this on the cheep atm .. unless you make one your self :laugh_at: .. i think the decoder would only be needed if you were conecting it to your pc … the hunt goes on :wink::wink:

    nice one mate, but i dont think that’ll work, i need a scart to 3 red phono plugs and 3 white phono plugs, not sure the yellow ones will carry sound, i could be wrong tho…

    na they won’t as it will come from the scart output and it is designed to link to the video out from your tv … i had a look around and i belive you need some kind of splitter and by the looks of it you cant get them in wire form .. the only ones i have seen in simple box splitter form are diy vertions .. the only way that i can find atm is to get a proper suround sound decoder/splitter stand alone unit .. and they cost a fair bit .. alternativly you could get a 5.1 sound card for your comp and dl the decoder software and then connect use your comp as tv out to your actual tv and sound out to your suround sound… just clarify with me that all you have is what is in that pic you posted a link to ..nothing extra .. and that the back of the system looks like the pic on the first link i posted .. just to make sure i know what i am talknig about

    yeh mate the backs exactly the same, and nothing extra was with it.
    what i need is phone multi plug adapter, so plug one phono lead in from the tv, that box coud then have three seperate phone plugs coming out to go into the back of the amp, not sure if they exist tho… :crazy_diz

    unless you spend out a fair bit on a splitter box .. probably some kind of pre amp 5.1 decoder .. the only way thing i have seen that you can use is a diy bluepeater esc box that looks quit complicated to make .. the thing is to get it to sound good you need a decoder as this spilits the sounds up properly so you get the proper surround effect .. with the way you are sugesting the exact same signal will be sent to all speakers .. so it will kinda be suround sound as you have speakers surounding you ..but it wount have the same effect as if you used a proper thing .. i am sure i have seen female single phono to duel male phone leads b4 .. mby if you got a few of these you could connect them together .. i’ll just see if i can find them … cos all you would need then is scart to single phono .. and split it a few times from that. ..

    this is the bad boy

    :wink::wink: ..have fun :weee:

    To be honest your not going to be able to make 5.1 sound good from a stereo out on your TV. What you can however do is plug in the front two speakers and just runa stereo out from your TV to the front R and L inputs….that way you get stereo sound and a sub woofer.

    Though tell me what TV you have and I can figure out if theres any other options.
