hi pvibers…i’ve been marooned in mid west wales for far too long, and now i’ve moved to cardiff i need to find all the free parties and fessies asap!!

so if any free party crews want a versatile dj to come and play and party, include me in the loop now that i’ve got a chance of making it now i’m not a bastard 3 hr drive from anywhere!!

Shame you moved cardiff aint exactly free party central, should have stuck around the westside.

blimey that was a damn long time ago, but yes.. only it’s DnbRadio.com – Drum and Bass, Jungle, Liquid Funk Music featuring Live Guest DJ Mixes and Podcast (UK, US, NL, AU, CA, EU) topaz now lol.. hiya!!

from my experience of Wales all the parties were in the cold wet bits, seen it piss down there and not go over 20 celsius in high summer..

one tek in Autumn 2005 was on such damp ground near the Dŵr Cymru / Welsh Water that I remember joking to friends “don’t hammer in the tent peg too hard, there is so much dŵr here that it will all come pissing out of the ground and drown Swansea, and they will think its some kind of English terrorism…

Safe! Caught a few of your shows a few years ago. Good sets, good dj!

As for Wales parties I’ve no idea, sorry. I know a few people who occasionaly throw parties down that way so if they happen again I’ll be sure to let you know, although they may have stopped now.

ahh general lighting, thats mid wales, its always wet in mid wales, and its 2 hrs drive from anywhere…. cardiff opens up lots more options!

To be honest even though I was born in the damn place I would not be able to tell you of any free partys, there used to be the odd warehouse party back in the day but I think they are few and far between these days.

I think the basement club in mill lane (I think a guy called stu housley used to put on some really good nights there) would be a good place for you to go, its good in there and the staff are cool

If you hit any D&B nights in the students union then I find it’s best to get in around 12.30pm-2am as most of the freshers and students tend to leave around this time and your left with the hardcore stompers.
