I dont really use it in speech though, just more in writing what im saying, its odd. Im from Yorkshire so i’m not totally sure where i got it from, Liverpudlians say it alot so maybe I got it from here….

I have quite a few mates in Liverpool so I tend to go out there quite a lot.
One place to definitely check out is the Picket. It’s a warehouse that’s been kind of turned into a club. I say kind of cos they’ve not really done much to the place, just put a sound and lighting rig in it and a bit of a bar in the corner. It tends to stay open all night playing all sorts of dance music and would be a good place to meet people if you want to get into the free party scene there.
As for actual parties they happen fairly regularly in industrial buildings by the docks, I would guess there’s something going on every weekend.
My favourite bar in Liverpool is Django’s Riff (down from concert square, can’t remember the street name). It has loads of wicked nights on, and everyone there is well into the dance music scene in Liverpool. And the foods fucking good too. CaVa just down from Django’s is pretty cool too.
Sweet man, been Django’s and Cava and there mint. I’ll have to find the Picket like, sounds like a good starting point though. Getting sick to death of Concert Square lol, but starting to find people who hate it as well so all’s goin well.
Cheers man.
