FFS don’t people in EA know what compromise actually is?
shame on the nimbys for whining, but shame on the organisers for giving false details and getting the area locked down again – especially as there have recently been successful hall parties occuring without negative incident across Suffolk after two years of zero tolerance…
A man giving false details booked the village hall at Norton at the last minute for a 21st birthday party, but it swiftly turned into a rave and seven police officers were drafted in after locals complained.
Jane Storey, county councillor for the area, said she did not hear the rave which is across a couple of fields from her house.
“I imagine it was not very pleasant for people living nearby,” she said. “Norton is such a nice, quiet place. The idea of there being a rave seems incongruous with the village.”
Hmmm, Maybe putting on a good/Un-busted party comes with age :you_crazy
