could you not solder it back on yourself? suppose its gotta be pretty precise with lasers tho…
afaik he means the mirror things .. don’t think they have to be too precise as it will just meen that the finished thing (image on floor/wall ect.) will be a bit ketamalized :laugh_at:
Maybe try and call one of these?
cheers for the replies..
..it is this one
Kool Light Performer 40mw Scanning Laser (Green) – DJ Empire Digital UK
I suppose I could solder it but that is a last resort..would prefer and try and get it repaired..
Dontbelive the hype – anywhere in London really
Angel – yeah I tried Google and have sent a couple of emails..not many are related to party lasers though..
Solder = for repairing electrical joints not for structural pieces. Is it in warranty?
check out these guys well known for lasers Celestial Lightworks
thats what i did to find what i was gonna post .. so not gonna bother posting it as you are more efficiant than me :laugh_at:
Shouldnt be much to repair it, i broke the mirror on my 180mW laser the moment i took it out the box – blagged it with the people i bought it from and they sent me a whole box of spare mirrors/mounts.
If you do fix it yourself just make sure the mirror you use doesnt distort the laser beam, most use high quality quartz ones.
