we’ve got this lovely venue.

only thing is, we think it could stand to be soundproofed a bit.

Ive heared that mattresses are good soundproofing. Is this so? Is there anything else that’ll work well?

Where can I get hold of used mattresses? Can you just walk into dumps and take them?

if you need to sound proof a venu .. it’s not so good for a party as unless you spend a lot of cash .. your never gonna sound proof a building very well as the sound will escape from some where … you would have to put matresses on the floor celing and all the walls .. can’t put them over the doors for obvious reasons so the sound will at least escape from there

Dude seriously, find a new venue!!

fuck lugging around a load of cum stained old mattreses when they are not gonna do shit.
Just find somewhere out of the way:wink:

egg boxes are a goOd soundproofing .. but 2 things … one .. you will need loads of them to cover a small room .. let alone a whole squat … + if your having a party there they wont last 5 seconds on the walls :you_crazy

Mate if your in london im sure it wont be hard finding another venue! Just make sure the area around it aint to dodgy, heard about some very shady characters turning up to some of teh london partys and kicking off.
