i think various things effect where there are parties
sheffield, leeds, bradford, huddersfield, hull, york (to an extent), halifax, doncaster… basically yorkshire (apart from north yorkshire) is an example of numerous large cities/towns around an area of plentiful rural area, also ownership of this land comes into it
north yorkshire has bucketloads of rural area, but there’s fuck all goes on here. there’s simply not the demoraphic for it and you are getting into land that belongs to “lords” and very well-to-do up-there people etc.
