What does everyone think. I’m a fence sitter when it comes to the BNP. I dont vote theres no one who reprisents what I think.
i don’t vote for the same reasons and same with my mate … i was thinking about voting green cos of a few policys but again i am not gonna vote for some one who i don’t 100% agree with … the way it’s set up is we are forced to vote for the lesser evil imo … and i would rather not vote. .
I may have spoilt my Ballot?!
Im really not happy about the BNP getting these seats though.. I rememer when I was younger & yes the party may have changed slightly but the Im sure this hatred still remains, walking through town with my old dear two guys with BNP banners trying to drum up support. An asioan lady, mates with my mum at the time walked past them these guys turned, spat on her & her kid…..NOT RIGHT!!!
I don’t like the BNP. Their policy against drugs (users and dealers) is a bit too militant for my liking. :crazy_diz
Although i will say one thing though, These labour and Tory ministers saying it’s a dark day when the BNP receive votes, It’s democracy ain’t it. If they had done their jobs properly in the first place then people wouldn’t of voted for em!
did you go and say something? id have gone and had a right fucking go at them. fucking pricks. :-/
i looked on their website to take an openminded view of their policies. They disgust me, even in their own words. I recommend everyone have a look at their website.
In particular their policy on immigration and third world aid :mad_curse
and the fact they are all a massive bunch of racists!
In particular their policy on immigration and third world aid :mad_curse
Innit, I’ve had a look. Seems a bit Nazi party to me!

i looked the other day aswell
Innit! Haha that line reminds me of a episode of Father Ted!
you sit on the fence when it comes to the BNP? riiiiight.
bad fucking times tbh.

I sit on the fence as in the fact that people are voting for them because its a reaction to things that are of consern that the major partys are not addressing. theres a reason why the BNP are doing well and people must be blind if they cant see it. I think people live in there own little circles and dont meet diffrent sectors of society so they dont see whats going on elswhere.
I’m sitting on the fence as I dont vote & I dont want a say as I try to live outside of society. I dont want anyone ruling over me I’m a green anarchist, I think rasism stinks but I also hate Political corectness. it causes more problems than its suposed to stop its descusting if you ask me.
I sit on the fence because I want to see how this pans out & what the BNP actualy do. If like Griffin has promiced he digs up the mass of corruption that has gone on with back handers, sell offs & share fixing. If he actualy gets some of these corupt politicions into court then I’ll say fair play.
I dont think its going to be christal night in Bradford & Oldham I’d like to see some inteligent debate on the subject not just the old ‘fuckin facists’ the BNP arnt exacly the NSDAP there deffo far right and have racist tendencys but I’m a fence sitter with polotics full stop.
I vote Techno Party, ATWA & Freedom.

Good response.
I think the BNP have been successful because they have capitalised on the failings of Labour. New Labour sold their socialist soul to Thatcherism and abandoned it’s working class supporters. The BNP then infiltrated working class areas, and using it’s very clever campaign techniques convinced people that the reason behind both economic and social inequality was because of immigrants, rather than the actual reason: free market fundamentalism, capitalism, power and wealth distribution and Maggie fucking Thatcher.
I live in an area in which the vocal majority are right-wing if not far-right, and I understand the mentality behind their tendencies. However it still makes no logical sense. The media doesn’t help, papers like the Mail and the Sun stir up so much Islamophobia and as we know people tend to look past the actual facts. I’m heard the economic crisis blamed on Muslims.
Political correctness is a bit of a non-issue to be honest. It’s a phrase coined by the media. There is very little legislation that actually limits what people can or cannot say, with the exception of the Inciting Racial Hatred charge, which is relevant to promoting violence or infringeing on another’s right as a human on the basis of ethnicity or religion. It doesn’t mean we can’t call a blackboard a blackboard, or critisice Islam, or that a “manhole” is sexist by law – that shit is lifted right out the Daily Mail.
As for Griffin exposing corruption and fixing, this is obviously a good thing, however I wish it wasn’t exposed by the BNP leader. If he is sucessful (which I somehow doubt) then it will create more support for the BNP. People will start thinking they are a voice for fairness which is irony at it’s most obvious.
And I disagree with your last point. The BNP are pretty much the NSDAP. They are nationalist socialists. People think of the NSDAP as always being openly fascist dictators, however they weren’t. They were democratically elected. They did not start their eleciton campaign with “excecute all Jewish people” or “Ayran race is superior”, they won the campaign through arguing socialist values for German people (it was previously the German Worker’s Party!). This is exactly what the BNP is promoting right now, obviously more relevant to the current climate. If the BNP got into power then the true face will be shown, just as the true face of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party was shown. It doesn’t happen overnight.
let’s get something really clear here
the BNP got less votes than at the last euro election. Their limited support is in decline.
they won seats not because hardly anyone voted and those who did voted for marginal parties, like the green party.
Incidentally the greens got 25% more votes (and the same number of seats) than the BNP but for some reason aren’t all over the front pages today

The Greens got the highest increase percentage of all parties. However they didn’t gain any seats. This really annoyed me, as if we’d have had national proportionate representation then the Greens would have gained 6 or 7 seats.
And yes the BNP did get less votes which is a positive, however the places where they got seats is a blow, there the BNP have gained a foothold. There was mass campaigning in the North West to stop the BNP gaining a seat, so for many it’s gutting they did. My region voted in a BNP MEP and to be honest it does cut. In the North East region, the BNP+UKIP votes combined was just 1% below being the majority vote. I know the officials of UKIP have been trying hard to distance themselves from association with the BNP, but to be honest many supporters of the two overlap.
