looks like we may be okay! (finger crossed, touch wood, lucky rabbits foot etc etc)
Here’s the BBC’s view of the next few days….
Anyone been to Materley Bowl before???……..the “bowl” aspect worries me slightly if its raining in the run up to next weeks madness……
don’t do this to yourself!! those things change every few hours from one extreme to the other!
True ellie…….not a lot we can do about it really:love:
yaaaay cant wait 😀
I went there couple years back for sanctuary fest and it pissed it down but it wasnt like swimming in a fish bowl or anything. Im surprised they picked matterley bowl its seem like a much smaller venue for Glade. But lets hope the sound quality will make up for space 🙂
theres a 10,000 capacity tho this year isnt there so i reckon itll be pretty small. hope they dont try n pack too much in n end up with loadsa soundclashes. that’d be wank
matterly bowl lived up to its name when i went last year, just filled up with mud cos there’s no drainage…
GOOD LUCK
GOOD LUCK
shut your mouth you bitter old queen. youre just jelous cause youre not coming!
i know…
im sure ill bump into you at some point. i know quite a few of your mates i think. are you good friends with all the peopel u were at uktek with?
i am indeed! im sure i will see you, i hope so anyway, to be fair i havent seen any of my mates in a while anyway cos of work so im going to be socialising my arse off and as well as get extremely battered at the same time 🙂
its going to be a festival full of merriment!!!
Well that was a bit fucking good!
Best festival time I’ve ever had.. bigger and better and louder than ever before.
Highlights:
16bit
Venetian snares
Mood deluxe
Nagual sound experiment
Rusko (shame about the MC)
Inspiral (prettier than eva)
They really went to lots of effort to make it a feast on the eyes.. the weather wasnt too punishing, and I got more fucked then I have ever got in my life. My only gripe was a fair bit of garage sneaking into the festival. Its a fine line between dubstep and garage and there was definately a fair bit of ‘do you really like it, is it really wicked’ sneaking in, with rudeboy attitude and lame MCs. Starkey especially made me angry by wasting his talent on RnB influenced music.
Any one else have a good one?
