windows XP granted is actually ok after the service packs! but vista… pah…. beta version filth.

P.S macs not that expensive. i mean its not cheap… but its worth it in my (mac)book.

a mac is a PC that you cannot change .. i like to upgrade my PC … and do bit’s to it .. PC’s are sooo much more versatile ….

theyre all fucking shit and annoying, theyre one of the only things that give me proper rage and get angry, but i still use em a LOT.

i just like stuff working, so i go down the analogue route a lot even if its less capable, it just fookin works!

Editing the kernel in mac isn’t quite the same.

I have a PC, which I turned into a hackintosh to fix my mates mac and it’s really stable but I still hate it. The lack of app support and the annoying way it makes decisions for you drive me mad.

you can do anything on a PC that you can do on a mac … the only reason people think mac is better to do creative things on is because a few of the programs are a bit more user friendly .. and that is litteraly the only thing … imo you can do more technical stuff on a pc that you just don’t have the option of doing on a mac .. and the limitations put me right off … + i hate apple

nonsense. It may have been the case before when macs were all carefully crafted from pieces made especially for macs but now they are just standard pc components stuck in a box with OSX on it.

I have had to repair 7 imacs and two mac book pros in the last 3 months due to hardware faults and compatability problems.

For example the super drive on imacs goes very quickly and the ram in the bottom of the new imacs unseats itself when it gets warm. The HFS (and HFS+) file sytstem they use is unrecoverable when it corrupts and given the new mac books have a habit of overheating and shutting down randomly this is not exactly uncommon.

So basically now that apple have tried to become affordable and accesible they are shit.
