its only doon past Newcastle though – its a stones throw from the border (well not exactly but its not far). what part of Scotland you fae? ive drove to Landsend from Ayrshire in one hit just for something to do and have never bothered about distances. for us to get to any good fests or parties its all hours way and a wee 2 or 3 hr drive/hitchhike is fuck all when ya know theres gonna be a ripper of a party once ya get there.

some real good fests/parties happening in England mate dont be scared to mingle with the southerners -they aint so bad once they stop asking ya to spell cucumber and asking if ya eat haggis!! 😛

its only down the road from you, relying on lifts is lame haha – stick out yer thumb and go have a gas with 2000 new mates! if hitchin aint yer thing, stick an ad on gumtree or rideshare boards to get about. i would be screwed if i relied on mates to take me to places as most of em cant be arsed now they are getting older, and im finding myself not even telling them when im off to something until i get back now just so i dont have to listen to cop out excuses why we couldny make it there or cash situations etc.
