perhaps people (religious or even secular) get angry because folk from glorious ancient cultures which were perfectly able to deal with sex and sexuality (Karma Sutra etc) get unhealthily obsessed with it, and even try and commercialise it – stealing erotic art from another culture and then trying to “sell” it back to that very same culture, thats more an act of war than one of love, and one that is bound to attract opposition..
