“The Home Office says it will push ahead with plans to ask communications firms to monitor all internet use.Ministers confirmed their intention despite concerns and opposition from some in the industry.
The proposals include asking firms to retain information on how people use social networks such as Facebook.
Some 40% of respondents to the Home Office’s consultation opposed the plans – but ministers say communication interception needs to be updated.”

I would assume there are officers snooping about and that fb shares information, but considering its size, its probably more propaganda than anything else. But then again, big brother is watching you.

this stuff has been going on for years already all there saying is there getting noseyer i even heard things like benefits people are looking you up on fb and if you sign on as a single mum and stuff but your profile says your in a relationship you get investigated etc if there doing this dont think drugs forums get missed so shh

Its not the same though, they are asking the ISP’s to log all the actions of their customers. That’s very different from the benefits agency having a quick go on google/fb.

Why would they care about drugs forums? they are only interested in supply and as far as I am aware drugs forums have nothing to do with that.

I am sorry but I am moving straight to the nuclear bunker, just in case. I suggest people do as I have and burn their modems and wrap some tin foil round your head.
