from the guy im living with saying the guy he used to work with has grassed him up to the cops and we are going to have to move out of the house today because we could expect a knock for but, basically they’ll be looking for any tourist as its easy money for them. he’s doing a runner to singapore. luckily for me they dont know that im staying here so i dont have to leave indonesia, but maybe for the best so probably going to be heading to vietnam after i finish that vippassana retreat… :crazy_diz

ironically people do a runner to Singapore as its the least corrupt nation of SE Asia (but also the most controlled)

TBH you are either better off there or in Viet Nam or maybe even in Malaysia but you will have to behave yourself..

this trip couldnt really get any more bizare if id planned it tbh.

so saw the guy that i was staying with this morning. and he’s got friends in thailand that work selling gold options. anyway they are looking for people that want to work. they pay for your flight and accomadation and give basic pay and 30% commition (sp?) on any deals. So ive only been awake for about 10 minutes and he asks me if i wanna go to thailand. thought fuck it why not, so in about 2 or 3 days im off to thailand to work selling gold on the markets! :laugh_at::you_crazy

hopefully ill be a millionaire in a few weeks! 😉

couldnt have come at a better time really either as ive just found out i cant extend my visa in country as ive lost the stupid bit of paper they give you when you enter, its probably at the bottom of the sea somewhere (lol:rolleyes:)

so the next time i log in ill probably ne in thailand where something equally fucking strange will have happened!

hopefully i wont do a nick leeson!:laugh_at::hopeless:

firstly would you feel happy with yourself funding your holiday parting people from their savings?

secondly if you are doing this and get caught out the feds are the least of your worries. People take matters into their own hands in that part of the world, and big knifes and even guns aren’t that hard to obtain.
