Tiësto is a man of “firsts”. He was the first DJ to sell out dates at the Brixton Academy (two nights in a row), Alexandra Palace, the O2 Arena, and last summer he was the first DJ to headline and sell-out a truly wondrous show at Victoria Park, London to 25,000 fans. He is the only DJ ever to sell out a three-month residency at Priviledge in Ibiza last summer, where he played to over 100,000 people and now Tiësto is back in the UK, to perform a series of very special arena shows across England, Scotland and Wales.

Indeed, add to the list, writing and performing music for the 2004 Olympics for an audience over 4 Billion. Remixing everyone from Britney Spears to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, selling out a 150 date world tour, collecting awards and nominations from the Grammy’s and MTV Music Awards, getting a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. To anyone else, any one of these milestones might sound staggering, but to the one-man electronic artist, producer and DJ phenomenon known as Tiësto, it’s just another regular day in the life.

And, if the sell-out shows that took place throughout America earlier this Autumn are anything to go by, the UK leg of the ‘Kaleidoscope’ tour promises to be one of the most extravagant tours that the UK have ever seen. These shows are no-holds-barred, off the wall productions hosted by the world’s premiere DJ. In fact, they don’t exceed expectations so much as blow them wide open. No expense is spared as his live shows transform into fantastical celebrations of dance music itself. Visuals are kicked up into another level entirely, lightshows beam out as if into space, and of course Tiësto’s wondrously euphoric brand of dance reduces the audience to a sweaty frenzy. Make sure your book your tickets now, as not only are Tiësto shows not to be missed but they ALWAYS sell-out!

Also, look out for the stunning single ‘Who Wants To Be Alone’ featuring Nelly Furtado, coming soon.

Tiësto does stuff towards the commercial end of euphoric trance..nah he’s not as bad as scooter and I have to admit I don’t mind euphoric trance.. (I blame mudstomper and cliffy) TBH if I can get away with a cheesy photo like that when I am 41 in 4 years time I’d be well happy :laugh_at:(not sure about the leather jacket though..)

I am not sure he really gets away with it though!
he makes the kind of tracks that 14 year old chavs are all into. glowsticks galore! big fish small fish cardboard box!
haha saw a guy doing what i call “the chav dance” at the weekend at some party i was at.
yes, i know im a dick, but i cant help but laugh.
Tiesto looks like a right fraggle.
number 1 dj? who the fuck decides that. why does everything have to be competetive……its all subective, just like you cant have the number 1 guitarist/singer etc etc.

we all i know i am the greatest DJ
He’s definitely old enough to remember 1980s Eurodisco and probably started off playing it. This explains his musical influences and fashion sense (and also why he looks like the dudes off Scooter who are in nearby Germany).
Maybe Tiesto is a bit of a schiester and this isn’t my cup of tea
I am just wondering about the correct spelling of schiester…
