@ GL thats what i was gunna say – could be 20 systems all slammed together into one big wall, norfolk style – though last time EA crews had a decent genset the feds took it off them and it got officially transferred to the Police Authority to run police stations in the sticks as EDF power is flaky sometimes!

last Reading squat party I was involved in there was 3 main areas but about 10 rigs involved in each due to kit being shared to make a big stack, although to be fair the biggest area did have a lot of kit – the pooled kit was assembled roughly in thirds and they had a 32A 230V feed from each of the 3 phases of the warehouse power. This is a lot of of electricity 😉 and there was 30k of audio power in the warehouse. The cable we used to power the rigs was as big as the service cable feeding the entire row of houses where I now live!

they pulled out all the stops for this one.. wicked party

highlights:

amazing view of london, near the millenium dome
searching for weapons and glass bottles on the way in
about 5 or 6 rigs, 3 of them outside by the river
1 outside rig had the best sound quality ive ever heard at a rave.. and they played sick drum and bass, dubstep, breakcore and gabba all night
A van with SNES games on a projector to play on for free
at least 3 bars with cheap drinks and medical grade nitrous
there was even a man with a bag of food giving out bacon rolls and stuff
it was only a fiver! i was half tempted to give them a tip on the way out

all is forgiven skumtec i went apprihensive and we were all really pleased, we’ll be at your next party
