not got the telly wired up at the moment (by the time I’ve done this and rebooted the freeview box the programme will probably be over!) but my own grandparents got their country invaded (Malaya fell in 1941) and my nan had to hide from the Japs!
its worth learning about rationing / self sufficiency though and dealing with electric and telecoms disruption as although the UK is very unlikely to be at risk from air attack again I think we are going to end up with things like that in just a few years time…
