so in your opinion to have a reading is a good idea if you feel that your life is a muddled up?

All tarot cards are a manner of communicating with your subconcious and/or higher self
The Osho Zen Tarot is a particularly positive and well illustrated set – I have had a set for 15 years now and have always enjoyed using them. I have used a lot of other sets along the way and it is one of only two sets which I have chosen to keep. I used to sell tarot decks in a shop at one time and have seen an awful lot of them btw 😉
Pm me if you like mate for further discussion :weee:

Although I’m all for self analysis and communicating with your subconscious and higher self, and I’m generally quite open minded and spiritual in many areas of my life, I dont think tarot cards have any special powers.
Shuffling a pack of cards and picking some out at random is the sort of process that is too bound by the laws of physics – there’s no way that you will pick out cards that are relevant to you. I do believe consciousness can shape the quantum nature of the universe and influence random events, but shuffling a pack of cards is not *really* random, it just appears so to us because we dont 1) take note of the arrangement of the cards before we shuffle and 2) we dont keep track of the motions our hands make as we shuffle. For the same reasons I cant believe that the subconscious mind shapes the cards that are dealt.
Although I believe it may be useful because when you see a selection of cards you ignore data irrelevant to you and pick up on data relevant to you.
This is the same reason people believe in horoscopes despite the fact they are wrong most of the time.
So I think they can be a useful self analysis tool if you are that way inclined but people shouldnt think there is anything mystic about them
sorry im not being as much as a hippy as i appear on the outside 😉

this is how the guy described it when he just sent me an email…
AS FAR AS THE CARDS GO ,JUST REMBER THEY ARE JUST A TOOL FOR GREATER PERSPECTIVE, YOU ALLRADY KNOW, ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. I FIND ITS MORE A MATTER OF GETTING WITH YOUR INNER GIDE AND LEARNING HOW TO TRUST YOURSELF ….

I really like the way you’ve worded this, I totally agree but could no way have worded it myself so well

so true, I had a mate who believe in horoscopes and had this massive book. My GF was being convinced by him that it was true as he read out some stuff about her start sign. So I got the book and read him some from his, and her some from hers and they both were totally amazed how accurate it was. It was only afterwards I told them I had read out the wrong star sign. Desire clouds judgement and all that.
(I did it in a nice way though)
