cheers for the link – just watched it

    ‘comedy gold’…….brutally so

viscious circles round and round and round they go :hopeless:

its cringeworthy at the best of times , i should be used to it though theres plenty of families like it round here raaa it just started last nite. I think it runs for a few weeks so i will be trying to remember to watch the rest of the series. True what you say about the vicious circle , shame . The guy with his dog bullet is funny :crazy_dru

    indeed 😉

infact did you notice the telly’s everyone has in their homes  they do well for people on the brew . i dont know if you get the shop ” brighthouse ” down your way but im guessing thats where they got theyre tellys . basically the shop will give you hp on anything with crazy amounts of interest regardless of your credit history . its rank up here with them shops , they get ripped off so much i wonder how they have not went under yet :laugh_at:

Brighthouse is based in England but I don’t know anyone who uses it.. although people always used to rent tellies, it was much more common until the 1980s..

I thought I was on drumclinic/maiko reading words like “scheme” and “on the brew” :laugh_at:

I saw the transcript of another similar show and this dude was banging on the door of someone and woke up their dog, so the bloke inside said “john ye bam! ye’ll wake up the close!”- the door knocker replied “see you and your yelping dug!”

must admit I did notice the huge TV’s !!

and yes there are brighthouse’s and cheque cashing etc places down the road from me,

my neighbours also have the hugest tv and lavish furnishings… fuck me I work full time and cant afford one – when the ex took the tv, dvd and surround sound,
I used my old 15 inch one for a few months and then got a myself a 21 inch one built in dvd, from tescos! and that cost enough!!

:weee: thats great , see the thing is the area i live in even though all the houses have been rebuilt and the whole place is nice, there is still a fair few unemployed people and not so well off families . then they open a place like brighthouse who will give anyone credit and whole lot of it , mainly targeting families who couldnt afford to buy these sort of tellys , giving them credit and whacking on a whole lot of interest . its wrong on so many levels but hey thats buisness. just doesnt help really

i bought a new telly when i was working and earning before xmas last year . wish i didnt bother cost me a fortune and doesnt really improve my life any , could be doing with the cash now aswell .

    just watching this now

    poor kids 🙁

one of the dudes has been busted for drugs!

BBC’s The Scheme star in court over drugs | Scotland | STV News

whole show got took off air due to a kid getting done for violent crime

The Scheme taken off air as resident arrested for assault | Scotland | STV News

and the wee dug got took awa’ tae England..

How Bullet the dog found new life away from The Scheme | Glasgow and West | STV News

this really sucks I was enjoying that!

I didn’t bother with the programme much (listening to a scanner for years gave me all the “reality crime” stuff I wanted) but the BBC had no choice really, our public funded broadcaster can’t justify jepoardising a British youths right to a fair trial simply for a TV show…

at least Bullet the dug got a chance at a new life 😉 although the Londoners who adopted him had no idea he’d been on telly (the Scheme only showed online and sky feeds of BBC scotland, not on the English BBC 1)
