what sound card is it? or is it built in to the motherboard? is it not detecting it automatically over le net?

went looking for this and came across a sound driver but it never worked so i’m stuck at the moment

opps missed the laptop part. I know sod all about them, did it not come with a CD?

Device driver backup, restoration, update and removal software for Windows, drivers backup, backup drivers could try that

drivermax looks promising

no worrys, perhaps they haven’t made any XP drivers if its a new laptop. You could try searching for some generic ones but that can be very hit and miss if I remember correctly. I got it working, needed a hotfix from windows support then the 1st generic driver I tried worked
