So, bank holiday weekend of August sees the Notting Hill Carnival bounce West London

With over 40 stages with some dirty DnB, Dubstep, Reggae and good old dub stages to be placed around the streets, it’s a guaranteed good day (Monday is the one!)

Maybe it is a bit mainstream for the folks on here, I’m new to this site so excuse me if it is, but I’m sure a lot of you would have a banging time.

Anyone on here planning on going? I know I am, me and a few friends intend on having a good old skank to some dirty beats.

Let me know your thought/plans on the carnival.

Think lots of people from the scene go, but never been myself, heard good things though. If I lived in london I would attend but trains etc are such a pain unless you leave early.

I take it ur goin?

Most defiantly! First went with my dad when i was about 12 and I fell in love with it.I’m glad to hear that this is the kind of thing this scene likes, I am defiantly in the right place!

Getting an early train could be good though, make a whole day of it. I only usually stick around for the day time, gets a bit dodgy at night.

Where abouts in Uk are you?

I am from the south, Hampshire. I really must get off my arse and go, probably too many people for me to find pleasant at the mo but perhaps next year.

Yeah man Hampshire is not far at all!
Keep it in mind or next year though, I’m sure I’ll still be on here so we can sort out a hook up! From what Ive seen on PV most people (excluding the stupid companies eg. BiddyBag-what a cunt!) seem sound so I’m willing to meet new people and have a boogie!
