    Details: Woman released from handcuffs
    Address: Swallow Pass, Chelmsford
    Attendance: 1 x Chelmsford
Firefighters used a variety of small tools to release a woman trapped in handcuffs at her home. She was freed by 18:31 hrs unharmed but somewhat embarassed. The alarm was raised by her partner. We have no information relating to how she became trapped.

    Hi General Lighting ,
I have been called to a very similiar situation , it was the groom on his stag night ….they lost the keys . Normally we’d use bolt croppers , or if the cuffs are not so tight soap or lube of some sort . No we got out all the hydrualic equipment and our disk cutter which we reved infront of him . Moral of the story is dont stress a man thats already stressed . He proper went into shock …….we had to cut and re-assure as he was white and i think about to faint . He did recover and made his wedding so all good .

Details: Good neighbour alerts crews to merry man!

Address: Great Wakering Sports Centre, High Street, Great Wakering

    Attendance: 1 x Shoebury, 1 x Southend
A woman walking her dog this morning heard the cries of a man stuck in a closed recycling bin outside the sports centre and raised the alarm for crews to go to help.
Two appliances were sent to the incident and when firefighters arrived at the scene they found the woman comforting a young man who had clearly had a good night out.
At 06:44hrs, crews said that efforts were being made to remove the young man from the bin and they requested the attendance of Police as they reported that the casualty, although unharmed, may have trouble finding his way home.
“How he got into the bin is a bit of a mystery, but he would still be there if the woman hadn’t heard his cries for help. She was unable to get him out, so called the Fire Service for assistance. We don’t know how he got there,” said a fire service spokesman.
    We have no further information.

Do you think they are related GL? :crazy_dru

    Hi General Lighting ,
Had a few animal rescues myself from birds to cats …..yes we do rescue cats stuck up trees lol . To even a Donkey with a tin can stuck on its hoof , we failed with the donkey it got too aggressive , but luckily in its temper managed to kick the can off by itself so we claimed an assist for that lol . Dont be fooled by that cute exterior donkeys can be vicious !!!!!
