LEFTIES!!!!! IM A COMMIE!!!! niiiiice
Meh. Newspapers need to tell a story, and if one doesn’t exist they’ll cook one up based around what few fragments of informatin they have available. Large-scale squat parties have been going on in London for years. Just because one group got cocky and held one in a stupid location, it suddenly becomes a symptom of the recession and a backlash against the Tories. Cue a load of romanticised bollocks about grassroots political activism and a third summer of love.
go on cheeseweasel!

its not just news papers that are guilty of that though, just as many of the raver comments supported the “revolution” side of things. Everything in life is just a story, nearly everyone has an agenda, beware the teller.
a lot of so-called “revolutionaries” are merely going through youthful rebellion and not doing anything constructive..
a smaller building in the suburbs being squatted and turned into a social centre for all – that would be grass roots activism, but people have done that in Londonistan and ended up having their tat robbed by youts (not even busted by the Police who have left them alone)
