thats a definition of prudence you don’t normally find in accountancy textbooks :laugh_at:
They invited her in for a drink and played drinking games before she performed oral sex on three of the men.
“You had sexual relations with them and played some kind of sex game,” said Judge Goldstaub.
“One of the males – a prudent gentleman – recorded your consent on his mobile phone, including your image.
“But for his doing so he would have been very likely in deep trouble.”
A MUM-TO-BE whose lies wasted hundreds of hours of police time has been jailed for crying rape.

:hopeless: people who cry rape make me sick – for all of those who have been and are too scared to testify
seems to be in the papers a lot at the moment this sort of thing, simular thing happend locally.
also happened with the second incident at Latitude (also involving folk from Essex)

unfortunatley the real thing happens all too often –
I know a lot of girls (family and friends) who have actually been raped,
some druged (atleast 5 who are totally sure they had some sort of rohypnol type drug put in their drink – and luckily they wernt sexually attacked – as they either collapsed or were walked in on by friends – and these are trust worthy girls but who didnt want to say anything in case it went against their professional careers / affected their relationships etc )
(including my brother who when dj-ing had something put in his drink that totally fucked him over to the point of collapse)
or had attempted ‘date’ rapes.
the frightening thing was some of them would have had totlly water tight cases but because they’d been drinking or taken substances they were too scared about how this would look upon thier character – as these days because of so many ‘alledged’ rapes the deffence really go after the girls character or socail life in a negative way – when we look at how most 20 -30 yr old spend their weekend its totally unjustified!!!!
(sorry yet another of my soap boxes!!)
…………….and I know a lot of us will occasionaly put ourselves in vulnerable situations with our lifestyle but it still doesnt justify someone raping you – or taking advantage of one of our basic human rights of consent…
and this includes men! as the incidents of this happening to men are increasing – or men reporting it is increasing
Its unfortunately the darkside of the “night time economy” as are the false allegations, particulary round here (I’m only 10 miles away from Essex) – hardly surprising the authorities are taking the “blunt instrument approach” and knocking back venues licenses..

some people really need their heads knocking together –
if they knew the real horror of this to a real victim and the impact it has on the ‘wrongly allegded’ perpetrators family / career / friends etc
its horrific –
I have also seen what its done to some one wrongly accused and it really fucks up your life and potential future trust in relationships
whilst your in it
and your lucky if you can pull it together enough to trust others enough to be able to put yourself in a vulnerable position to have another relationship
(sorry I’ll try and stop ranting now )

they know what they are doing and simply don’t give a shit – there’s stuff I can’t say on here but I can’t believe how fucked up things are becoming – these days I hardly go out, I just stay in and drink on my own – at least I can trust myself 😉
When I do go out I am on guard to such a extent people ask me if I’m “OK” or “actually enjoying myself” as I refuse to drop my inhibitions (as I can do a fuckload of booze and drugs and still keep my self control) – but its a survival mechanism, not anything negative – of course I’m enjoying myself, but I’m prudent(!) enough not to get myself into bad situations…

snap –
I manage to appear relaxed and happy but always have this in the back of my mind and am hyper vigilant (and this may have a lot to do with the physical and mental violence I have experienced at work too)
as I also have put myself in alot of vulnerable positions when young in my social life and thankfully have come out unscathed
I’m sure you can understand the things I have heard (and then 100 it )
in my old line of work – it doesnt bear imaginable that this shit is so prevalent!!
and often by family or ‘friends’
and having had family members go through this is too close to home also!
it is worrying – as two of the girls drugged was by their local bar man (ops their house) and he mentioned my bros name etc so they thought they were safe to accept a drink off him – one went home ill and cant remember the other collapsed in the street and was found by a stanger thankfully – and the guy went home to the pub that night and packed his stuff and left despite having another 3 months on the contract….. go figure
in the early 2000s my sisters mates had to deal with this – one of the girls in the group had her drink spiked luckily I’d warned my sister about this, her mate was a Doctor in the Emergency Department, her other friend worked on the town CCTV control room (I knew her voice from the radio scanner :laugh_at: – but despite TVP doing a proper investigation they never caught the bastard what done it

Most defenatly, I did not mean to suggest or imply that anything other than a tiny minority of people are making up such things. More just that the media seems to be reporting them more at the moment (they do so like to jump on those bandwaggons)
I has wrecked more lives around me than I can count tbh. Its a fucking cruel world sometimes, largely due to its population.

both real incidents and false allegations are more common today.
For instance both happened at Latitude and that was under the noses of a fuckload of rentaguards and a fair few of Suffolk Constabulary.
in Ipswich I think there have been an equal number of real rapes and false allegations. if people carry on at this rate it won’t be long before town is locked off by midnight and cops literally herd people back home like what they used to do 25 years ago..
