So far I go to the gym every other day, look for work, sit on here, smoke a lot of fags and watch TV. I also read and play xbox but dont feel in the mood for either at the moment sadly.

Earning money
Computer games
researching/learning
Mainly play the decks, try and find new music, go cycling/driving, surf the net etc. I start a new job tomorow though 🙂
pack up rig, set up rig, sort cables, have a few drinks, plot up coming events knock out some techno! raaa
Get up, breakfast, eat infront of internet and fan heater
Make music

Not necessarily in that order. I don’t have a lot of trouble filling my time. I haven’t even had time for computer games recently 🙁 admittedly I haven’t found anything worth playing since dead rising 2

how long do u meditate for? trying to meditate daily myself
I’ve only just started so only about 15-20 minutes. It’s pretty relaxing but no divine revelations or enlightened bliss just yet 😉
Started with the hindu stlyee (mantras) but learning about buddhism and it’s techniques now so going to change my game plan
ive recently started to get back into meditating, only done it about 4 times recently, but gonna keep doing more and more, set the alarm for 20mins at the minute some times its easier sometimes difficult, but everytime i feel peaceful after so all good

cool, dont know much about mantras etc. My technique is based on buddhism/mindfullness really. Cant imagine how I lived without it 2bh. Tend to have little moments of meditation throughout the day for just 30 seconds or so and then do some guided meditation at other points in time. Jon Kabat-Zinn is a name worth looking up if you get a moment. He does a lot of good scientific study on meditation.

The maha mantra, it was a hare krishna mate who got me into meditating. So I’ll do 108 of them which is a round on these bead thingies, and recently started doing another round just breathing in and out buddhism style. They have a slightly different feeling cant work out which i prefer yet

The awareness of thoughts and emotions does give a lovely clarity doesnt it. As I said to Iacchus, Jon Kabat-Zinn is worth looking up, hes really pushing things foward with it in a scientif way plus he does a lot of guided meditations.

cool ill check him out! the scientific community has been talking about meditation more and more as it has been proven to be beneficial to mental health. It was in new scientist the other week.
I’ve been recommended this book

My year long mental health therapy was entirely based on budist meditation 😉
Love it! It could improve virutally everyones life, I think the religious associations sadly stop a lot of people. Thats why I like mindful meditation, meditation without the religion is goooood.
Indeed it’s got a fair bit of stigma.. anything that is vaguely associated with non-materialistic philosophies gets frowned upon by most people I know. Hopefully a bit of scientific backing will change that.
