it is actually an Austria mobile number and supposedly that is the correct number of digits – according to the RTR (Austrian Communications Ministry) they can have 13 digits in a phone number :crazy: – in a country with a population of just over 8 million? WTF? They must give mobiles out to all the mountain goats!!!!
I work as a telecoms engineer and I am glad I am not in Austria, or I would be spending half my life entering dial plans :laugh_at:
PS: now I check the RTR site again and other bits say the phone number only should have 8 digits after 0681. Now I am really confused, and it is too late to go ploughing through the German site..
