So here it is im sitting with a few ideas running in my head im wanting to throw an old skool party in a field in the middle of nowhere what advice would you give me

for example what distance should i be away from any property & how far should i have crowds walking trough a field to get to the location

obv i dont want anything getting taken off me so i want the location to be perfect

how many generators would be needed to run a full set up as i would need lighting plus the dj set up as well

where would i goto rent equipment like a marquee & other things

i do have an idea about a few other things but im looking for ideas from others as to what to do

Sounds like a plan.

Have you got private land or not? Makes a big difference these days!

Dunno if there is any of this near you but near us there was Rivers Authority land, ie land owned by the government because you couldnt build or farm right next to a river. You could put parties on there and you would not anger andy landownders

Obvioulsy try keep as far away as possible from residential areas

will have a look Tocooltom cheers & Clusterfrog i will look into that, just a little worried about people being close to water at an event like this, you can only hope everyone has a mature head about them but there is always 1.

thats a good point, although round where I come from the rivers authority land extended far away from the water, we were never actually by the river
