From facebook…
Ha ha Damn I am happy that my young days are over, this facist behaviour towards our kids is unsound. Those old ladies and tie wearing bastards really need to be told what the time is….they are out and should quietly fade away and not be this joy killers…they have just to be sure fucked it real hard and good up for the generations to come by overspend on money on them selves and leave the boat rotten to the core, and when the kids want to have some simple fun they deny them that. Damn you, you rotten adults!
Ups wrong fredd! it just rant over!
old people are cunts. so they think that all the drunk people on that bank holiday was because of a small party? they are talking about the reputation of their town… well i wouldnt wanna go there now.
Kudos to the group who had a good time but were respectful to tidy up afterwards 🙂 And kudos to the councillors who used a bit of common sense.
sounds quite balanced to me. Glad they cleaned up, surprised how sensible the council seem to be over this.
funny how different we read tings…my rant stand loud and clear and is what I felt when i read it, does anyone think that they will be allowed to do this a second time, me not…se how those creepy bastards made those complaints…just to make sure that the youth of today is bored to death

If there was another royal wedding with the weight of the first I reckon there is a chance they would manage it. But God knows. I have been to a few partys that way and it was ushall to see a dog walker in the morning, 15 mins later old bill turn up and tell everyone to clear off. Doubly annoying as it makes it so hard to clean up the site.
There will always be people who dont like what they dont understand. Thankfully in this case the councillers ignored someone who really had nothing to complain about 🙂
both “royal wedding raves” in my area were grassed up by the locals, who demanded in both cases they should be shut down. The Norfolk one had their rig seized (later returned), the Suffolk one was only left alone because the cops had to deal with a big fight at another Royal Wedding party (in my town!!) and they couldn’t have riot cops there and also 15 miles away….
A response from the organiser of the one in South Norfolk. Unfortunately the cops aren’t backing down – but to be fair they would only have acted due to complaints from locals. Diss isn’t that big a town, and there are normally only about 5 police officers in the entire area..
Event planned in good faith – Local – Diss Express
what is worse though, in our country is it is not the very old people (age 55-60+) who often make the compaints. I’ve spoken to these older people and many are very liberal (as they were young in 1960s when hippies and pop music first became popular).
Sadly it is people our age or just slightly older – and even some younger people, some of whom also once stayed out late/partied, but the moment they have kids of their own or get a normal lifestyle they change and want to “make society cleaner/safer”. Last year i was at a party with friends in this same area, and a young woman in her mid 20s called the cops on us and asked for the party to be shut down as it was “disturbing her kid” – despite the fact that my friends children were soundly asleep in the middle house and it was as much a family gathering than a rave!
jeez, us kids.. we’re out of control. >.>
