I have a bit of a mission on my hands soon. I gotta go from my home town (near Watford) and am going to see this bird in bloody Worksop, Nottinghamshire!
Cheapest train fare I found was 70 quid but with about 5 change overs, journey takes 3 odd hours. the coach is one change (right around the corner so is easier) but takes 5 hours, this costs 42 quid. I figure the coach wins but a 5 hour journey? all I can say is I better be getting some when I get there!
