Seems a bit harsh to shut down such a small party but in this area everyone keeps being stubborn (I would have thought this to be a particularly bait area TBH)…
Officers were alerted by a member of the public at 7am to what was thought to be a rave taking place. On arrival they found approximately 20 people on the site with loud music and a camp fire.
After speaking to those involved a Direction to Leave was issued under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act at 8am. By 9am the area had been cleared of people and vehicles.
No arrests were made but sound equipment was seized.
