After announcing our presence to the world with the incredible Rowland the Bastard in June, Skyylab returns with the first in a series of parties designed to get you stompin’
We’re at a new, better venue, with a later license & a rooftop chill out terrace.
Over the coming months Skyylab will be taking a DiY style attitude to our line ups, bringing you the absolute best DJs from Nottingham & the East midlands sound systems & keeping the admission fees low! Quality raving for under a fiver is the aim & we firmly believe we have achieved that with Techno Unitys line up!
DJs:
SMALL PAUL,
Representing Nottinghams best known Techno party, Pure Filth has been running since the mid 90s & Small Paul co-promotes & DJs at every party. Currently living in Brighton, we’re bringing him back to his hometown as a special one off. Not to be missed.
PINHEAD,
Pinhead is well known in Nottingham for his hard & uncompromising DJing. A regular at Rigomortis as well as DJing on Krafty radio & playing an instrumental part in The Notts Collective. Pinhead is a true Techno hero & we can’t wait to hear his Industrial/Hard Techno set on the night!
DJAYP,
Practically an institution on the Lincolnshire Free Party scene, DjayP has been DJing on a regular basis in & around Grantham since the mid 90s & co-promoted the NiteBreed free parties that set the standard for years to follow in South Lincolnshire.
DjayP is our new resident alongside DJ M-Dee & will be bringing the Funk to Skyylab.
TINITUS,
Tinitus promotes & DJs at TSA303, one of Nottinghams new breed of Techno parties but thats not all, one of Nottinghams most booked DJs he’s played at Pure Filth, Sheffield City Tekno & Rogues Picnic amongst many others. Tinitus caused a stir with his excellent set at the first Skyylab. Even saying he thought it was ‘the best set he’d ever played’
So, we invited him back to go one better. Hard, Fast Acid is what to expect!

Resident DJ M-Dee won’t actually be DJing tonight, instead he’ll be showcasing 30 minutes of his own material, with lots of live Acid tweeking. Acid Techno all the way, M-Dee recently played 2 of his new tunes exclusively on Notts Collective Internet Radio.
THE VENUE:
Cookie Club is one of Nottinghams longest running independent nightclubs & was the venue we wanted all along for Skyylab. The room we shall be using opens directly on to the rooftop chill out terrace & is the perfect size for Skyylab 2.
We shall be adding our own production touches, Decor, UV, massive strobes & lasers etc & you shall be adding the Skyylab vibe!
Cookie Club is a friendly, alternative venue & Skyylab customers will have access to the other 2 rooms in the club (Indie/Alternative) if you fancy a wander, although our room will definitely be where the party is.:crazy_dru
Drinks start at £1.50 (including bottled beer) & Cookie stock Red Stripe (yummy) at £3.00 a can.
There’s no dress code at Cookie but can we advise against wearing tracksuits as some doormen can be a bit funny about this, thanks.
Entrance on the night is £3.00 to Skyylab Facebook members (and their guests) or with a flyer, others are welcome but will have to pay full Cookie Club Friday night entry fee (so join the group below).
