Or is it just me?
I lost the smileys down the rhs of a posting box a couple of days ago and don’t know if the fault is at my end or the forum end…
I still have the post smileys for the thread header but the rest are awol 🙁
got them here. British Telecom business circuits can be flakey at congested times and drop bits out of websites (curiously this doesn’t happen with residential circuits). its the core network, not the routers as I swiped a spare business hub (BT sent us loads) to use at home on a BT residential circuit and it works even better (other than not having dyndns but if you have a linux server anywhere online (like your NAS) you can use inadyn to update it)
thats likely to be the browser then 🙁 just dont understand how come we get the thread one but not the post ones
Its a chrome browser but it was working ok before
BT Business hubs are pretty good kit [designed to work with the archaic routers they keep in our local exchanges lol] I would recommend them now having had one 🙂
I will fix this problem after the next software update is released which should be soon…
You should might respond to this DOC… and BTW I have all smileys safari 5.1 boom fluid
Is there still a page hidden on the forum somewhere with all the smileys on it for use in the mean time? I can only remember so many of them and would like to be able to use more of them 🙂
Just discovered that the posting hotlinks from the top of the posting box are also missing [ie shortcuts to do url etc]
i am doing it oldschool but it means I have to go into post edit mode to get the proper links when copying them {in the most recent case new radio links for my sig} as everything else is a major faff around
This is fixed.
while checking the different user agents I found out that enhanced interface editor is not aveilable in IE 9 (boom-fluid)
its not working in chrome either but was before… cant pinpoint precisely when it went cos I am lazy and use the quick response box a lot [like now] and have a fair few smileys on memory :crazy_fre
i use forum default skin, google chrome and have wsiwig selected
Well I think I’ve fixed what wasn’t working about it by my fault but there may be some bugs. I will look into this…
