    Organised Confusion Posted:

Our good friends at Suffolk Constabulary have kindly phoned up the venue and got this event cancelled. We are in the process of getting another venue sorted. So fingers crossed! Keep checking back on the event page for updated info.

FFS the feds should at least either have this discussion at the start of the week rather than wait till the weekend – especially as otherwise this crew have done everything else correctly, staying within licensing hours and warning punters that challenge 21 etc applies.

There might be other legitimate safety concerns about the venue or other stuff (for instance traffic might be a issue as they’ve changed the road layout there) but these discussions should happen in the correct timescales or crews are going to think its just prejudice against certain kinds of music events.

Best of luck finding a new venue, although it looks like I won’t be able to make it anyway as working at least some of this weekend (big cabling job, which I can’t really afford to delay or fuck up in any form as a lot of folk are depending on me for having a new office ready just after Xmas)

    New venue sorted 🙂
