    I can’t wait for it Sinner… it’s going to be amazing….

ooh, I think we are oop north to a mining village that now puts on a weekender which used to be a free day fest but the community have got together to produce it – however unfortunately it lost a lot of money last yr (its first fee paying weekend ) so not too sure yet if its defo on- if it isnt will defo come – wanna see you in action!!!

I been looking forward to this too, its gonna be awsome. Now that it’s fully licenced there should be less chance of on the day problems. I can’t believe its only in horsham too. Everyone should come down and let old loggy take care of ya!!raaa

looks wicked!! respect for making it happen!!

lot of familiar names from Reading on there 😉

@GL, you don’t reckon it will be the same sort of crowd as reading do ya. I hope not. I have taken a vow to never allow my tent to be randomly torched by some hood rad with a grin like a cheshire cat ever again. I was hoping for more of an underground feel to the thing, hence the name.

no mate you’ll be fine was a really nice crowd last year 🙂

Thats a relief. I didn’t wanna polish my dancing shoes for nothing.

no. what I meant was a lot of the people involved are from the area, where I once lived.

I came very close to putting in a formal written objection to the Festival’s license due to the disruption it caused in the area I lived in (not that far away) and as a reprisal for TVP busting most of my friends that year for unlicensed events – my feeling was if they want us to play by the systems rules then so should every other event. There has been everything including rapes and the extreme right causing deliberate fights there, and IMO if it continues it should be relocated to the southern part of the town near the football stadium which also has facilities for the extra blue light services required.

I take it you’re not talking about this festival GL??

Yeah man the festival is commercial chaos, but I think you shoud polish your dancing shoes and make the trip down to the south coast this september 🙂

no, Reading festival (hence reference to TVP and the football stadium). In any case current the licensing laws are (quite rightly) currently that objections from the public are normally only accepted from those in the same Council area living very near the event location and have to be for good reasons, and that for smaller events with TENS the public only have a say if they contact the Police rather than lobby directly (hence why the right wing hates something which is otherwise the sort of “small government” they claim to support)

I used to always listen on the scanner when it was happening and heard all sorts of rum stuff, its only because of the money paid in licensing fees it was ever allowed to continue especially in the Richfield Avenue location (which quite frankly it has outgrown).

    Sorry blonde moment.. lol
