more worrying is JP is the most permissive out of all the the SE Asian nations, and accepting of art/free speech/music/drugs culture. it is also the most culturally prominent of the Asian nations and most folk from that part of the world are judged by what goes on there. Its quite literally a load of bollocks and has negative consequences for a lot more people.
As it is, folk even in friendly, non racist, multicultural crowds here think those of my ancestry are either “hardcore muslims/religious” or “will go for any kind of sexual practice with more than one of any gender”. because of this I’ve had some propositions (which I turned down). I can see the funny side of this but it does get a bit creepy, especially when you’re full of drugs and just want a less controversial good time, can make you quite paranoid…
