Note that there are as many girls as boys in class – this is normal for Asia. One girl came all the way from India. Jestine Yong (the teacher) is only slightly older than me (age 43). He lives near where my mums family are from but in a really posh area but is very modest about this.
Many of his students have not gone up to University but have only had basic high school education, and have gone on to get good jobs in local companies.
