Smash Techno is a monthly night devoted to banging techno..we have been running for over 2 years and took over from the long-running Nuclear Free Zone nights run by Stay Up Forever..we work with Stay Up Forever, particularly Aaron Liberator as we work to bring a mix of established techno acts from Stay Up Forever and elsewhere, plus newer acts from the underground..
We are into playing and promoting the harder, faster end of techno..so we don’t play much minimal, more acid, dark, hard but always banging :crazy:
Our home is the legendary 414 club in Brixton Club 414
This club has been rocking for years and with its intimate dancefloor, winding staircase on the dancefloor that leads up to a cafe, sofas and an outdoor smoking area where there is always madness going on, it’s perfect for a night like Smash Techno..

His fresh vibrant and funky dj sets appeal to a wide audience of hungry clubbers, ravers and partyheads – be it on the beaches of Spain, in the midst of Russia or in a warehouse party / free festival back home in the UK.

BIRI AKA DJBIRINIGHT is a natural born musician from Portugal with a gift for making noise, and being social! After a lifetime playing various instruments, he discovered electronic music in May 1996, and raved most of the weekends away in Portugal, as well as making outdoor parties(in the process he meet Spiral Tribe in Portugal plus others each one he regrets losing contact at the time for life reasons).
He then decided to go to London, and slowly got involved in the UK dance scene. Its now 16 years that he has toiled behind the decks as a DJ, and has recently started to have fun, producing a few tracks.
