thats exactly my thoughts about the driver of one of their new delivery lorries (they are just starting business in Ipswich), swung out across two lanes, into bus lane illegally (marked for buses, cycles and taxis but not random commercial vehicle), at high speed too – I was close enough to reporting him to traffic commissioner and VOSA (as local cops don’t always know the traffic laws unless they are RPU specialists) but he was going so fast I could not see the VRM. it could have been unpleasant had I not noticed the vehicle (15 ton lorry) being driven a bit erattic..
if I was riding my bike like that across lanes there is a good chance CCTV would flag me and I’d get hauled up, similarly in a car, that is blatantly dangerous and illegal road use. That waitrose even got planning here was contentious enough, without their drivers being idiots and they try to be a relatively right on business otherwise :hopeless:
