I am over the moon!!

I have wanted a tattoo for eons, but I am really fussy and wont get any old shit, and finally found someone who’s work I love, and since finding him, I have waited 6 years to get it (a mixture of finances, he’s based in Belgium, and other stuff getting in the way) and he’s in the UK this weekend at the international convention and I managed to book a slot!! :bounce_fl:bounce_fl

Pretty scarey getting my first tattoo at a convention with thousands of people there, but I managed with the pain and didnt make a tit of myself, just closed my eyes, breathed through it and didnt complain or whine.

I dont think the Pictures are in order (and the numbers dont correspond if they come up), but pretty much start to finish

Very DMT like! love it 😀 – you gonna get it coloured at all or leave it as an outline? It’d look well good with psychedelic colours I recon. Look’s fucking sweet as it is though. 🙂

I’m not having any colour,

this guy mainly does ‘dot work’ (hence the dots) and black with some red (these were the only colours he had with him)
and I declined any red, as I only want it black

I hear hands and feet ad the most painful places to get tats due to lack of soft tissue, and quite a large tat for a first… well done for making it through

Considered having a Celtic band round my upper arm at one point but was put off when me an my ex got pissed and drew all over each other with felt pens to see what we would look like with tats lol It looked so silly on me I never went for a real one

Thanks – I was told by several people today I was very brave to have it on my foot as the first and the size I was having…… but I dont really do half measures!! :laugh_at:
and I can totally empathise with the ‘drawing’ bit – think I’ve done similar but with henna…….

Yeah done the henna thing in Ibiza, they turned me and friend away from the tattoo place because we were to mashed to get one ( good job considering what we were looking at ), so we had henna ones done at sundance instead but they ran and smudged with sweat ( pilling in the midday med sun makes sweat buckets lol ). But yeah doodling on each other with felt pens when pretty much naked and doing tequila bellybutton shots was a lot of fun even if we did look ridiculous afterwards.

Yep, I got obsessed with dia de los muertos / day of the dead about 16 yr ago, my dad took me to an exhibition, in London, I even did my art gcse on it.
And its mixed with mhendi style.
