Right I could do with some help folks; my music setup has suddenly stopped working correctly. I have 2.1 audio Sony laptop speakers plugged into my PC. They have always been fine quality wise if not great at high volume. Now suddenly everything sounds like its being played off an old tape that’s been left out in the sun. At low volume its not that noticeable so unsure when its happened; at higher volume (but not loud as such) it sounds terrible. I have checked all the cables and they are fine; I tried playing purely out of the left speaker and right speaker and the problem still remains. Tried different software music players (winamp and windows media player). Checked the sound settings. Checked the EQ settings.
Anyone got any ideas?
Try plugging them into something else to see if it still happens.
I should have done this. Instead I bought these Harman Kardon Soundsticks III 2.1 Channel Multimedia Sound System: Amazon.co.uk: Hi-Fi & Speakers
I fear desire may have clouded my judgement a tad…
Good price though and they do sound good.
Awesome delivery time – less than 4 hours after ordering them you are testing them out? 😉
