Bit dear, not a fan of ratpack but lineup does look pretty good
Evenson Allen’s lost a few dreads and gained a few kilos since I last saw the Rat Pack in person.
but that was around 1990… the station I was on at the time (first time I had DJ’d to an audience) used to share the same tower blocks for studio with Fantasy FM so we would all look out for DTI (now Ofcom) and warn each other (via the record shops, text messages weren’t invented yet and only really rich folk and drug dealers could afford mobiles!) if we saw the unmarked cars around. You could tell them apart from metpol CID because there were more Asians in the DTI – they got multicultural before the cops because the other Asian boys what did obey their parents had no problem with joining up with govt to judge the ones what didn’t. Which made eluding them more of a challenge as obviously they would know all the same tricks as I would for trying to look less suspicious in a tower block you didn’t live in (such as putting your records in a shopping bag or even old grannies trolley).
fair play to them they are still around and alive and working together though!
I was in the chat room when vinyl vera was playing and thought this sounded pretty good.

Yes indeedy doo! Does look like a pretty magic night out, hopefully the price’ll deter too many wankers from turning up and all!
The price is a mere £25 – thats a pound for every year they have been in the business – full line up has been announced and can be found here

He’s actually lost a lot of weight recently (well the last time I see him live he had anyway), he really had put the pounds on early/mid 2000’s!
Coincidentally, I’m actually searching for my Rizzla as we speak. Can’t fooking find them anywhere grr. :laugh_at:
I normally have that problem with the famous clipper lighters 😉
£25 is quite a bit, but as I said to Vera: Randall, Gachet, Food Junkie, Colin dale, JJ Frost & Phantasy alone make an awesome lineup!

Hell yeah man, proper top line-up, well worth the money. As VinylVera said, £1 for each year they’ve been going can’t be bad.
Man i fucking wish I could go to this. Day before my birthday too, would be immense coming out of there on my birthday (albeit on a comedown probably)
