I just got back from eating ham with pineapple on top, dressing with gravy, green beans and coconut cream pie for dessert at the Banquet. The Banquet is rated #1 in the USA for it’s quality free meals to the needy and it was a great meal, indeed! Tonight’s meal they’re also supposed to be giving out free electric blankets and free clothing, but it’s a long walk there and back from where I live and you nearly burn more calories walking there and back than you take in by eating there. An electric blanket would be nice, though! I’ll just wait and see how I feel later on this afternoon to make up my mind whether or not to go back down there to eat.
Now, I’m chilling out with some great poppy tea and watching “Star Wars” on my VCR. I’ll be watching “Blazing Saddles”, (a Mel Brooks film), after that. What a hilarious movie this is!!!

PS……….Last night I made a homemade peach cobbler and fresh, hot homemade cinnamon rolls and here are the photos of them below:

So, if I don’t go and eat that free meal tonight down at the Banquet, I’ll at least have great desserts to munch on!!!
