  • Hi guys, 1st time poster here!

a real newb when it comes to London clubbing, what I’m looking for is somewhere that plenty of people are spaced so I don’t look out of place! Now I went to Fabric recently and whilst i found it good, the music really isn’t to my taste. Don’t get me wrong when I’m rollin I can enjoy it, but id rather something a lot more Dance like, ie with some sort of lyrics, and not something that sounds like one continuous beat (to me)

From all the searches iv done most places seem to be predominantly House

    Is there any alternatives?

    Thanks

If your looking for “spaced” people go to a legal psytrance event or any illegal rave, noone will care how you dance or what you look like.
As for your music question, thats pretty broad, why not serch diffrent EDM styles untill you find one you fancy, and then find a club that plays that?

Thanks the EDM seach is a good idea, bound to be something i like out there.

With finding a club that plays it though, im kinda like i know say fabric or the egg im not gonna be out of place rollin, but places like Ministy of Sound i got no idea, iv read they are a lot tighter on drugs there?

all clubs are tight on drugs, in the sense that if they catch u with them, they’ll take them off u and berate u and unless u bow a bit, they’l probably kick u out, but they know drugs are an essential part of the night and they can see everyone is wasted and won’t care, its only if u wave pills in the air that there’s trouble… and they dont want police turning up, so at worst you’ll get kicked out, but thats never happened to me and i have had a friend waving pills in the air and not got kicked out (in the coronet, accross ‘the road’ from ministry)… ministry of sound may be the place for you, they do standard trance and house nights and have big name dj’s play, just go on their site and see if there’s anything u like… if you’re not knowledgable, find names of dj’s playing and listen to them on youtube or somewhere… have fun 🙂

Thanks, i kinda thought MoS might be more up my street in terms of music, just wasnt sure if there would be plenty of people rolling in there (probably stupidly) haha

Maybe you should try Electric Ballroom in Camden if your into the commercial side of things, alternatively you could try going to some sort of Garage night?

What about some of the smaller club nights in hoxton?

Cant quite remember where it was but I’m pretty sure it was called ‘trailer trash’, but they might just have been the peeps to put on the night,

but maybe similar places like this:
    Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen

93 feet east is also a great venue

    Clubs in Shoreditch

and lots of totally trashed peeps round that way

we are off to the egg next month, I’ve not been before, but my other half and his mates have, and some are even traveling down from the midlands for the night we going to – and I’ve only heard good things about it (we’re going for a house night)

Not really interested in a garage crowd tbh. Dunno what they like in City but in Essex would be awful!

Hoxton and shoreditch sound interesting will have a look into that.

Think it’s gonna be MoS for Oakenfold. Seems perfect.

Still can’t get my head around this rollin’ thing. Anyway, good luck on your quest. Maybe lyrical trance if you want some vochals?

Hello which is the best nightclub in London? I will not prefer hard party clubs.
