[h=1]’Killer slugs’ find in Norwich garden is ‘a UK first'[/h] Ian Bedford discovered the slug in his garden
A giant species of slug, which has attacked crops in mainland Europe and eats dead mammals, has been identified in the UK for the first time in a Norwich garden.
Scientist Dr Ian Bedford spotted the Spanish slug, also known as arion vulgaris, on the outskirts of Norwich.
Dr Bedford, head of entomology at the John Innes Centre, has had his findings confirmed by Aberdeen University.
“The presence of this aggressive species is bad news,” he said.
The Spanish slug can lay up to 400 eggs each and has few predators.
I’ve seen loads of them massive lighter coloured slugs in my garden over the years, not sure if they exactly the same ones as they’re talking about, but look identical and are way bigger then all the other slugs.
Eww slugs are fuckin wrongun man…..

Ahh i’m not a fan of the cut em up and feed em to the pigs method, i much prefer a highly concentrated acid and then neutralising the solution and pouring it into the Thames.
Try find them now you fuckers!!!

David Walliams’ mouth probably already did, a long with that whale. Wait a minute…. Did you put that whale there to clean up after yourself?
Seems we need a ‘Covering your tracks’ thread to follow on from the ‘plotting a murder’ lol
