Please don’t say mine sweeper lol,
I must admit this will be very hard for me to put them in order so if need be you can just name five in no particular order. I’m gonna compile my list and post once I am back from bum club.
Change of thread topic just post games that you love forget the top five
Shenmue.
Legend of Zelda: The ocarina of time.
super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.
Elite.
Mario Kart (SNES).
Not in any particular order..
Day Z
GTA:SA
Company of Heroes
Counterstrike (both 1.6 & source)
WoW
Road Rash 64 is probably in there too. Damn i fucking loved that.
Someone will probably give me shit for saying WoW, but some of the best years of my life were spent on that game with my brother (I played from like 2004-2008 or so, so i was only 8ish when i started and 12ish when i stopped.)
To hard though to be honest, it changes all the time and i have way more then 5..
I played Shenmue but I got to the bit with the gangster dudes in the warehouse and got stuck. I Always wanted to know what happened in the end AND in part 2. Game was really good, I like being able to play super hang on in the store too.
Zela OOT was really good too although I never completed that either. I did play the shit out of the legend of zelda on the super nintendo.
Super street fighter 2 was an epic game. I remember getting SF X plus Alpha on the playstation that was a really good SF game.
Elite?? never played
Mario kart is deffo one for the hall of fame, many times hours playing battle mode with friends and winning the special cup after five thousand hours practice.
Good list man. I love hearing about peoples games that they love.
Ahh man Elite was the game that started it all really.. Read up..

If you need more that five, fire away. I have never played WoW and probably never will but I know it is a good game just by seeing how mny people have bought the game over the years.
DayZ is an epic game indeed.
Counterstrike…… hmmmm I liked iy for a bit but I found that it was plagued by try-hards by the time I picked it up so my experience was poor sorry to say. But none the less CS source is a good game.
Company of heros I do not know anything about but i’ll have a look in a second.
Not a bad list, all fairly modern games but of course they are the games of your generation.
Xcom UFO defence aka UFO enemy unknown (1993)- Without a doubt one of the best games ever made, it is in the top 10 games ever made.

I’m actually going to buy the remake on my way home today
Arma 2
battlefield 3
Metal gear solid – 1999
Fallout 3/ new vegas
I know most of mine are modern except xcom but I find that these newer games are smashing the shit out most old games.
Yeah I remember elite, in fact I had it on the amstrad cpc 464 or something, here’s another good un.
Yeah man, used to play WoW with my brothers/dad, was great for bonding lmao. Still do play Day Z with em too.
He’s playing the new X-Com aswell..
Fallout 3 was brilliant, i still go back to it every now and then.
I’d have to say Oblivion aswell, and i’ll try think of some more oldschool ones..
Another MMO, Dark Age of Camelot.
Neverwinter Nights (1&2)
C&C Red Alert was good too 🙂
I had this on the amstrad 464 too, I spent hours with my brother and brother in law hunting down other Uboats and ships. I was only like 6 when I first tried playing it as I grew up a bit i figured out how to change the torpedo tredgectorys etc but i still wasn’t as good as my older brther etc.

And the Silent hunter series, the true successor of silent service, I have had loads of them but SH3 is the best one I can run on my laptop wit minimal lag. I highly recomend playing them. You get a awesome rush when you are hiding under a class 5 destroyer, hoping that his sonar won’t pick you up before he come in range of your torpedos, trust guys it is phatt

red alert is one for the history books for sure. DUNE 2 was the westwood studios game that paved the way for command and conquer. You had these huge sand worms that would just swallow up your spice harvester and shit, was an excellent game
I’ve heard of the Silent Hunter series, never played though.
Something similar but at the same time not similar is World of Tanks. It’s an MMO FPS where you command a tank and have to destroy the other tanks basically, but its pvp..
Nothing beats the rush of a group of n00b tanks taking on a Tiger, or hitting that long range high explosive shot to destory their treads 😉
Pokemon red, blue, yellow, gold and crystal. Easy.
Pac-man
Impossible Creatures
Abe’s Orgasm
