I feel quite inexperienced in the ol’ party scene compared to you guys – curse of always working in hospitality I’m afraid.
So whats your favourite party scene ?

trippy psy night with lots of lovely decor psytrance?

loved up old school acid house parties…Es and smiley faces all round ?

Or do you like a really grimey bass party and skankin’ out to some DnB ?

My fav type is outdoor summer parties, bout 100 peeps bout two rigs and lots of different styles of tunes. Good weather is a plus factor

The modern equivalent of this (i.e the outdoor parties at their best in the 90s/2000s). the original acid house parties from the 80s were commercial events run by gangsters with a fraction of todays safety/security procedures, they were only available to posh people like David Cameron and even then and were blighted by serious violence/trouble. its just that ageing music journos older than me look upon them with rose tinted specs and gloss over the violence and criminality…

My fave type is out far away in the hills of beautiful scotland in an isolated clearing with a big rig, Sweeeeet sweet Acid Techno,
nature and with the people i love and care about the most. :love:

Its easter weekend 30th march.
I posted a thread about it last month but can’t remember what i titled it to find it. I planned on hunting it down soon anyway to try and remind people about it.

Ah, bollocks, that’s the same weekend as the old skool night I’m going to. Unfortunately, wild horses couldn’t drag me away from seeing the legend that is DJ Easygroove for the first time in years mate, otherwise that woulda been a possibility. Fuckin’ typical ain’t it, all the good nights all happen to be on the same night/weekend!

I can’t understand why all the promoters hold the events on the same weekends, especially given how few licensed EDM events happen these days even compared to 5 or 10 years ago (which is also why I can remember when one was posted…)
