oxfam and green stewards are good
hotboxevents sort out quite a lot as well and are a good company
peppermint bars/festival volunteer.co.uk do a lot as well
Personally I prefer to do the paid work at the festivals. We often work with volunteers, get the slightly better jobs and they always complain that we don’t end up working that many more hours than them but go home with a couple hundred quid instead of having spent it! It is a job though and you work about half the time, but it’s the most fun job I’ve had
