Ooost I once said to someone, i’m sure people voted obama because he is black, it’s like picking the disabled child to be on your team with the school project to earn yourself some brownie points with the teacher.
It didn’t go down well lol, the guy i was talking to replied ”erm, he was voted because they just wanted him as president”

I’m sure there certainly was a push for the ‘first black president’, but don’t forget a large proportion of the USA are from black, Hispanic and ethnic minorities – who may believe he is going to be more sensitive to their needs?
rather than white fucking dickheads like Romney – but also don’t forget – he was then re-elected..

I don’t know a huge amount about American politics, but I think a large percentage was his proposed policies were / are better then the oppositions.

I read that a lot of women voted for him due to the awful potential policies Romney wanted to pass (

the Republican party has been accused of a “war against women” over issues like birth control and abortion.
