I fucking hate attention seeking people who want to climb on top of speaker cabs. What I find more insulting is when people put there beer cans inside the folded horn enclosure and shit. Fucking nobs
Ouch, that was painful to watch…
I aint even gonna watch that, anyone with fuckin N.E.D, destruction and voilence in their blood up here gets found and kicked out of the party scene promptly, that’s completely unacceptable! Those kinda cunts don’t know a good thing when it stabs them up the ass!
So they can fuck off back to the sheepish, consumer ridden, media hyped, commercialized society they belong in!
I saw (and heard) tunnel crews’s rig get moshed over in 2004 (might have this on video if the DV tapes will still read and I can get any kit still working to process them). I was filming them from a walkway above and the rig went over with such a noise I ran down the stairs as I thought the power had blown out as that was a sketchy circuit with a earth fault (madcake thought I had got sparked when I first tried to energise one of the phases earlier in the night to get them power as
there was a spark and I literally pulled out the porcelain fuselink, jumped back and it dropped on the floor, this was proper Dr Frankenstein kit)
when I got down the steps then I realised the power was still on and the moosers had accidentally sent the rig over..
if I owned a rig I would think this is when it is unfair that tasers and other stun guns are highly illegal in our country.

this actualy was a genuine accident. in English raves people actually mosh to hardstyle (its more gentle than it seems although girls are at a risk of being groped by some oafs). The ones at the front hold on to the stack,
so if it not secured from behind (all sorts of things are used for this purpose, scaffold poles, wood etc) and if rig monkeys climb on top and further upset the centre of gravity its not surprising the rig goes over :yakk:
I just mean that it is pretty immature ‘neddish’ behaviour to disrespect property like that, yeah sometimes ya do feel like jumping around on stuff and going totally mental, but really…Save that for heavy metal gigs, not someones personal rig, to me – I link disrespect with ‘neddish behaviour’

yep I see what you mean. Though the hardstyle scene does have a slightly aggressive edge to it, even in NL (where it comes from!) with really good pills (bear in mind I can read what the Dutch kids write on their youtube comments and on partyflock.nl) 😉 to be fair though most Dutch kids wouldn’t dare climb all over the speakers, for one thing they put road barrier fences around them (and that is a big psychological deterrent in countries where jaywalking on the road or being on the wrong lane in a car or even a bike gets you fined) and they generally have a lot more respect for promoters and sound equipment anyway.
This is why you should erect barriers between the crowd and the rig and make creative use of the van that transported the stuff along with muchos ratchet straps!
Also you could shoot at anyone trying to climb the stack with a paintball gun!
some rigs seem to encourage it though its all very confusing. I assume they are the shitter/cheaper rigs? Either way I wouldn’t even put a beer can on someone else’s rig let alone stand on it.

Ah yep it gets really rowdy at Hardtek nights that we get here in Edinburgh, but it’s all in good fun, everybody just starts ramming in to each other and shoving each other around, all smiles and laughter though. And definetely no abuse of equipment.
Seems to be a sort of tradition that when the last tune is on the go. Most of the women swiftly evacuate the dancefloor when this is happening lol
saw a girl fall off a massive stack head first on to the genny once no idea how she survived lucky lass. Little tip for ya kids, if you must climb the rig dont take the nos with you ffs.
seen this quite a lot, defo on pv too. i wonder if that dude got fucked up who was on the speakers.
if he did they can guarantee that area will go to zero tolerance. My region really only got locked down as we’d have one serious casualty every weekend (trauma injuries either from fall from height or worse violence) and that would require a ambo to be sent in on blues and sometimes even Anglia One (heli) to airlift folk to Addenbrookes or NNUH/James Paget. Bear in mind that Eastamb is stretched to the limit and there aren’t enough units to go round as it is.
Ultimately it results in stuff like confused granny ladies being roused out of bed from the local hospital and taken to the residential home in their dressing gown and nightwear by a out of area private ambulance at 22:00 (when the night shift aren’t expecting a new patient because she was supposed to be brought in at teatime).
no one in the NHS or private healthcare wants to do this but it happens because we are in bad economic times and the “real” ambulances and other NHS staff are dealing with the aftermath of avoidable incidents like this. it is this knock on effect which is why normal people hate illegal raves, not because they are bigoted or don’t like music.

I’d be surprised if he didn’t.
